OmniPulse OmniPulse

Cookie Policy

Effective date: March 13, 2026
Last updated: March 13, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how OmniPulse uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (omnipulseweb.onahle.com) and application (omnipulse.onahle.com).

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work properly, remember your preferences, and provide usage information to site owners. Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you're visiting) or "third-party" (set by other services used on the website).

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies (Required)

These cookies are necessary for the service to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

  • Authentication tokens: Used to keep you logged in to the OmniPulse application securely. These are set by AWS Cognito (our authentication provider) and stored in your browser.
  • Session management: Used to maintain your active session and ensure secure communication between your browser and our servers.
  • CSRF protection: Used to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.

These cookies expire when your session ends or when your authentication token expires (typically after a few hours to a few days, depending on your session activity).

2.2 Analytics Cookies (Optional — Consent Required)

We use Google Analytics (GA4) on our marketing website only to understand how visitors discover and interact with our site. These cookies are only loaded after you give consent via our cookie banner.

Analytics cookies collect information such as:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • How you arrived at our site (search engine, direct link, referral)
  • General location (country/city level)
  • Browser and device type

This data is aggregated and anonymized. We use it to improve our website and understand which content is most helpful. Google Analytics does not have access to your OmniPulse account data.

For more information about how Google processes data, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2.3 Preference Storage (localStorage — Not Cookies)

Some user preferences in the OmniPulse application are stored using your browser's localStorage, which is technically different from cookies. These include:

  • Dark mode preference: Whether you have enabled dark mode.
  • Sidebar state: Whether the sidebar is collapsed or expanded.
  • Cookie consent status: Whether you have accepted or declined analytics cookies.

localStorage data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Cookies

The only third-party service that may set cookies is Google Analytics, and only on our marketing website, and only with your consent. We do not use any advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or other third-party trackers.

4. How to Manage Cookies

4.1 Cookie Banner

When you first visit our marketing website, a cookie banner will appear asking for your consent to load analytics cookies. You can:

  • Accept: Analytics cookies will be loaded.
  • Decline: Only essential cookies will be used. The website will still function normally.

To change your preference later, clear your browser's localStorage for our site (this resets the cookie consent banner) or use the browser settings described below.

4.2 Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:

  • View what cookies are currently stored
  • Delete specific cookies or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific sites
  • Block all third-party cookies

Please note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the OmniPulse application from functioning properly (you may not be able to log in or maintain a session).

Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we add or remove cookies or change how we use them. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will update the cookie banner to re-request consent where required.
